Sansa Fuze touch screen not working

Hello,

My touchscreen is not working such as navigating, back page and play button.  However my power button and volume buttons still work.  I did a reset and used the sansa updater to install the latest firmware etc.

My player is asking me to choose a language - the problem is that i cannot use the touch pad to navigate or enter the selected option etc.

Has anyone encoutered this before?  Any advice on how to get the touch pad working again?

Sounds like a hardware problem.  I can only suggest RockBoxing it.  If the touchpad does not work under RB, then that would confirm that there is a HW problem and it is not software.

Is this still under warrant? I’d check if RMA is possible here.
