My computer has been down so today I plugged my fuze into my ps3 to charge it. To my surprise it was able to see it, but it does not see any content on it. And I was wondered why.
try changing the usb settings under system settings. and see if that works.
PS3 only sees it in msc or auto but still not what is on it.
oddly my 360 sees everything in mtp mode

If you connect to your PC in autodetect odds are you add your music to MTP mode. If your PS3 connects to MSC you wont be able to see the content. Autodetect just picks a mode based on the thing you plug into, so for your ps3 its MSC, and PC Is MSC. If you plug it into your PC in MSC you probably wont be able to see the content either.
so why does it see it, but not the songs?

The stuff that is added in MTP only shows up in MTP and vise versa. The PS3 sees the device as it would any add on, but because its in a different USB mode, you cant see the files.
I’ve already tried hooking my Sansa up to my PS3 so I could do something in RB2. It didn’t work though, to say the least.
when i plug in the fuze to the PS3 all i get is unable to see usb device…any ideas?
