I love my e280, it’s worked tirelessly for 6 yrs everyday. But I plugged it in while it was playing in my car charger Saturday and the lcd flashed and the entire thing shut off, it will not start up again. It has only done this once before. I replaced the battery and tried charging it but it won’t work. I tried the MSC restore instructions too but that won’t work.
Is there anything I can do? or is it a lost cause?
Did you try a simple reset? Press and hold the power button for 20-30 secs. Release, then press again momentarily to [hopefully] start it up.
Oh yes, I’ve tried starting it every which way it is just black. When I plug it in it doesn’t even respond or get warm like it’s charging.
Could it be the on board battery needs replacing?
