Sansa disables USB devices

When I plug my Sansa into my computer, it disables and/or severally messes up my USB head set.  I have to unplug it and reboot my computer to get my USB headset back.  I have also had it disable my USB mouse when plugging it in as well.  This is extermely annoying as I can’t use my computer while it’s charging and have sound.

Headset - Plantronics Gamecom

Mouse - Logitech G5

OS - Windows Vista 64

Are you sure it’s the Clip, and not your computer and its USB ports?  For example, some IBM Thinkpads are documented to have wonky USB connections, which routinely go out.

If it is the Clip, it’s a malfunction–return and exchange it.  Not the norm.

You can use an AC USB charger to charge the Clip+. Many cell phones use a mini USB charger, so you might already own one. If not, you can get a good one for under $10. Many notebook computers put out low power to the USB ports, especially if the notebook is running on battery power.
