I love my Sansa Clip. I just got a pair of Bose In-Ear Headphones to use with the player. So I plugged them in and went to turn the player on. Nothing. I held the Power switch for 10 seconds and still nothing. The battery is 100% charged and my computer still recognizes the player. I’ve tried again several times to turn the player on and I get nothing. I think my Power switch just went kaput :-( Will SanDisk replace my player under their warranty? Thank You, I’m feeling lost without my player (it is much cheaper than an iPod Nano, which is what I was considering before buying this!).
Slide the power switch to the ON position (spring loaded), and hold it up for about 10 seconds.
Release the switch, and then try powering up again. This is the soft reset function.
And yes, SanDisk should replace it under warranty, if resetting does not work.
