I often connect my Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16GB to my LG WebOS TV without ejecting it properly. Now, it works on TV but not on Windows or Android, despite trying various fixes.
If your Sandisk USB drive isn’t working on Windows 7, try these steps:
1. Check Device Manager:
- Right-click on “Computer” and select “Manage,” then choose “Device Manager.”
- Expand “Universal Serial Bus controllers,” right-click your USB device, and select “Uninstall.”
- Restart your PC to reinstall the driver automatically.
2. Disk Management:
- Right-click on “Computer,” select “Manage,” and go to “Disk Management.”
- If your USB drive is listed, right-click it and assign a new drive letter.
3. Run CHKDSK:
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type
chkdsk /f [drive letter]:
to fix file system errors.
