Sandisk Milpitas SSD error fix

Is there a fix for the 16Kb Milpitas SSD disk wipe?

Was working fine under 2 years, I powered down the system gracefully, and on reboot no disk found
BIOS sees it as Sandisk Milpitas now, was Sandisk SSD Plus 480GB
After was using other tools like gpartd, PartitionRecovery or MiniTool Partition Wizard but no data is seen.
I was thinking of ordering the PC-3000 kit by AceLabs but think it will be the same end result
Any recovery possible?

do you have any sollution? I am with the same problem.

My SANDISK SSD PLUS 240 GB - SDSSDA-240G-G26 is no longer booting & the BIOS sees the drive as a Sandisk Milpitas SSD.

  • Powered down but no change.
  • Tried to reboot with Windows10 USB but no access to SSD drive. USB seen as C: drive.
  • I’m assuming it has failed…!

same…with my 240 gb …

The closest fix would be to rewrite the firmware. However, WD is making it difficult to get an iso with the correct firmware for each damaged model due to lack of update. I get the firmware at great cost in a hidden repository within Western Digital’s website. But no WD program that does the forced rewrite.

Alright

Same: with my 240gb
Any solution?
