The process sandisk have in place to help is slow and brain numbing, why don’t they offer a phone number to call for help ?

Hii @circxs ,

Sandisk microSD cards are generally reliable, but faults can occur due to counterfeit cards, improper use, or manufacturing defects. Ensure you purchase from reputable sellers to avoid fakes, handle cards carefully, and avoid abrupt removals during data transfers. If issues persist, check the warranty for replacements or consider alternative brands.

There are a few ways to fix your corrupt SD cards. But first you need to confirm that the SD cards are genuine and original. Run H2testw on windows or F3 in Mac to validate your card.
Then, you may try running chkdsk or reinstalling the driver to fix your card issues. Check out this article to know better: How to Recover Photos from a Corrupted SD Card?

There could be several reasons why your SanDisk SD cards are failing. Here are some common issues:

  • Counterfeit Cards
  • Improper Use ( ejecting the card without safely unmounting it, using the card in unsupported devices, or removing the card while it’s in use.)
  • Overwriting and Wear (Flash memory has a limited number of write/erase cycles.)
  • Physical Damage
  • File System Corruption
