Hi I have recently purchased a Sandisk E30 1TB to use as external storage for my iPad Pro M4 and to also use with my windows computer. The format is exFAT. I have transferred files from windows laptop (eg pdf, png image and word doc) onto the E30. When I connect the E30 to my iPad it shows the SSD in the Files app on the iPad as empty. I am unsure what is going wrong as the iPad is recongizing the E30 just not the files on it. Any help would be appreciated? Cheers Aido

Make sure you are using a quality USB-C to USB-C cable when connecting the drive to the iPad and try copying files from the iPad to the drive and see if you can see it on Windows.

thanks for the reply SamD and providing the links. I am using the cable that come with the iPad and when I try moving files from the iPad to the SSD I am getting an error message. I have not opened a support case therefore I will do that as I am stumped
