I have a 32GB Cruzer Edge USB which functions incorrectly on every machine I try it on. For further elaboration; the device shows up in File Explorer, but when I try to open it I get an error of ‘O:/ is not accessible - A device which does not exist was specified.’ It also shows up in Device Management (Under ‘Universal Serial Bus Controllers’ and ‘Disk Drives’), and Disk Management, as ‘Removable’ with ‘No media’. I have tried uninstalling the device from Device Manager and restarting, and also changing the device path from Disk Management and restarting, both of which have not solved my problem at all.
I would return it to where you bought it and try a different one.
Try changing the assigned drive letters and trying it without restarting.
