My sandisk clip jam was hanging all the time for last 6 months. I had to reset it by pressing return and power button and recently It got worse. I checked the version of the player and downloaded firmware file from the western digital site. I followed instructions correctly by placing the hex file in the root directory and disconnected from the computer. After few seconds the player switched off and pressed power button to switch on. But no response. I tried to reset it by pressing return button and power button for 30 seconds with no response. But when connected to computer, the PC is recognizing it and all files are still there and MP3 player is not turning on. Many thanks

in May 2024. Till date, No reply
