Loved SecureAccess.
Unfortunately, no longer supported.
I want to use the SanDisk App to encrypt the USB Cruzer Glide Flash Drives that I have. Once the issue is solved, I will wipe all my Cruzer Glides and start fresh.
So far, I only wiped one Cruzer Glide clean and formatted it to Fat32.
Downloaded the SanDisk App.
Clicked on the SanDisk App for Windows 3.0 on my Windows 11 PC Home Edition.
The App can’t find the USB Cruzer Glide.
.
Uninstalled and Reinstalled the SanDisk App.
The App can find C: and an external drive (not flash), but not the Cruzer Glide which is using an external device drive on the tower that other USB flash drives use.
What can be done so the SanDisk App 3.0.0 for Windows 11 can find a Cruzer Glide?
Thanks!
@TechNot888
Try connecting the Cruzer Glide directly to the USB port of the tower all by itself. Can the SANDISK App see it now?
Have you checked our knowledge base articles?

Try this one.
Thanks for your idea. It worked. I took off all the connections, rebooted, put the Flash Drive (FD) in one of the ports, booted up the SanDisk App and the FD was showing in the App.
I did a bit more testing with another FD and it showed in the App as well. Good to go on having the FD seen in the App.
Now the next step is to add the encryption to the FD like I had with SecureAccess. I am not seeing in the App on how to do that…. I’ll do a bit a research on this and if I can’t find the info, I’ll start a new thread.
Thanks again for your reply.
Happy it worked out. Check this article to setup Password Protected Data Encryption on the drive like SecureAccess.
Thanks for the link. I will take a look. If I have any questions, I will reach out. So far, so good. Thanks again.
