Does the SSD show up in Device Manager or Disk Management?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your SSD! Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot:

  1. Try a Different Port: Even though the USB ports seem to be working, try plugging the SSD into another port to rule out any issues with the specific port you’re using.

  2. Test on Another PC: If possible, test the SSD on a different computer to see if it’s recognized. This will help confirm if the issue is with the SSD or your PC.

  3. Disk Management: On your PC, go to Disk Management (search in the Start menu), and see if the SSD appears there. If it does, it might need to be initialized or assigned a drive letter.

  4. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager and see if there are any issues listed under “Disk Drives” or “Universal Serial Bus Controllers.” If there’s an issue, try updating the driver.

  5. Data Recovery Software: If the SSD is still not recognized, you might want to try a data recovery tool or consult a professional service, as the data is important.

Hopefully, one of these steps helps you recover your data! Let me know how it goes.
