"Refreshing your media"

Hi.

My Sansa arrived today. And I put my new 16GB Micro SDHC card to it. Then it displayed “Refreshing your media” and was freezing with full status bar.

So I reset it and remove the card, but it repeats the same phenomenon. However I can’t connect it to my computer.

I read many solutions, but they are not good to me.

What should I do?

Reset means holding down the power button for 20-30 seconds. Have you done that?

Hold down the center button and then connect it to the computer and see if it gets through. If it does, you should download the latest firmware from one of the threads near the top of the page, unzip it and drag it onto the SANSA CLIP driveletter.

The 16GB card should be formatted to FAT32.

I did that all, but they are no good for my sansa.

So I inquired to sandisk support center. They recommended to refund or replace it.

So, I will replace it.

Only add or remove a card while the player is off.
