I purchased a Cruzer Edge this last week. It stood out on the sales rack by looking very light, which it is, easily attaches to a key chain, and looks kind of cool in red. I used it for the first time today. It did the job but that is like saying that while you can crack a nut with a rock, a nut cracker is a much easier tool to do it with. I can’t imagine there is a flash drive more annoying to mount into the USB port than the Cruzer Edge. It takes a death grip on the slide to keep it from retracting into the housing when pushing it into the port. The all plastic construction seemed like a good idea but I won’t be going down this path again.
Do not push down on the slider when inserting the Cruzer. It unlocks the USB plug.
