Power Saver Mode Not Working (along with the usual 'charge indicator' complaint)

As title, I set my Clip+ to power off should there be no input for 10 mins but it will just keep playing beyond that. I’m pretty sure the power saver feature did work, once or twice, when I first got my device. Since then I have swithed the USB mode a couple of times but that would be the extent of my ‘meddling’ with the device, if that information is helpful.

I know the difference between this mode and the ‘sleep’ function. I bought my Clip+ about a 6 weeks ago.

Oh and, like many others, my battery level indicator doesn’t let me know when the player is charged.

Well then, I guess you know that this is the way that it is supposed to work. It won’t shut-down unless there is NO music playing (as in PAUSED).

That is the difference between the power saver and sleep mode after all.

I’m glad it’s not just me… I was baffled for a minute!  When used correctly the auto function works well.
