Hi, I have a Sansa Clip 2GB rev 1.0, 01.01.30F.
And, for 2GB of space I have a ~25-20 albums onboard. But if I try to make over 20 M3U playlists in MSC mode or 20 playlists in MTP mode, some playlists randomly shown as <Empty>.
Does Sansa Clip have a limit of playlists amount? It’s uncomfortably for players with more than 2GB of space.
The bug is going to be fixed on the next firmware release soon.

Why in the world would you need 20 playlists on a 2 GB player?
Marvin_Martian, hmm, as I say in my post, I have a more than 20 albums, and I have a playlist for each album.
sansafix, one of reasons, why I decide to buy Sansa, is a great support. I’m wait for a new FW=)
And I bethink of one more bug : sometimes, album starts playing with a low volume level; and volume getting normal, when i push volume button or I get back to the album, choose other song and play it.
Sorry for my bad English, I think, you understand me=)

You don’t need to make a playlist for each album. All you have to do is go ->Music ->Albums ->scroll down to the album you want, and press “>>|” on the circle and that album will play:wink:

Yeah, I was read manual before using this device.
But some albums which I make contains songs without tags or songs from different bands or releases. And my Music menu looks like a whorehouse:smileyvery-happy:. Some people asks for folders navigation, but my way is a creating playlists for each album.

Then I would either make multi-“album” playlists, or just use “shuffle”…but if it works for you, then enjoy
