Hello there, fellow Sansa Clip + users. I’ve been using this player for years and never had any issues But lately, it has been acting weirdly - when I want to select the next song it freezes for a couple of seconds and then starts playing the tune. It happens with certain songs, but they are no different than the others - the same format and more or less the same size. I haven’t updated my player at all. Can something be done about that? This problem is not the end of the world but is still, annoying. Maybe a factory reset might help? Thank you for the help!
HI @MahoganyPichu,
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:
Maybe the internal memory (or micro SD card) has a file allocation table error?
Connect your player to a Windows computer, point to the internal memory, then click on Properties → Tools → Error Checking. I use this handy feature after a session of adding and subtracting music files from my player.
I’ve tried to do so, but the only thing I see in properties is space taken. No tools or any other things.
EDIT: found out that my player was in MTP mode, not MTC, Checked for errors- none found.
Maybe take a look at the helpful information in this older conversation within this user forum.
