Overdrive audiobooks in MTP mode only?

It seems that Clip+ support transfers of overdrive books in MTP mode only :frowning:

When I transfer them in  UMS/MSC it plays the first chapter sometimes but then I get the license error message.

That is curious because my iriver s10 (a great little alternative to clip btw) works in UMS only and had no problems with Overdrive.

But at least it seems the audiobooks once trasfered to the Clip do not expire.

MTP is required to support any sort of DRM protected media.

Do you mean on Clip or in general?  As I mentioned, I am able to load my iriver s10 (which is MSC only) with DRMed overdrive books just fine.

It’s defintely the case on any Sansa player.  I thought this was the case in general as well.  Maybe the iriver has some special handling of overdrive files?
