After transfering music files to my m240, the song/artist/album information does not show. It only says “unknown” under each column or area. This problem only occurs on the m240, as I have an m250 and all of the information shows after transferring files to that player. I am hoping someone can provide an answer or fix to this problem Thanks.
what if you transfer files in a different mode, same thing?
I tried uploading a few tracks in MSC mode and now the song title shows, but the artist and album area still read “unknown”.
only thing I can think of to try is to edit the tags, atleast on one of the songs to test it out, with another program. Different from whatever you used to edit the tags now.
