New backup, same computer

Hi folks,

I have data from 4 computers backed up onto a My Passport 1 tb drive (4 different volumes). I recently formatted one of them. My question is, if I do a new backup on computer A, will it create a new volume for that computer, or will it overwrite the existing volume?

Hello, Smartware will never delete any of your files, it will create a new backup for the PC you formatted.

On this point, how does one create a new backup?  I assume by de-installing and then re-installing the Smartware program?  I have a backup plan but it’s not backing up. 

I want to create a new old and later delete the old one.  For deleting the old one, would I just delete the .swstor folder on the WD drive?  Thanks.
