Need Help with loading video's onto my Fuze

I followed the help given in a previous posting and it worked perfectly I can load music now.  So now it’s off to harder things I guess, does anyone know where I can find step by step on how to load video/movies onto it?

Have you tried reading the User manual?

I know, I know, reading stuff that’s created not specifically created at your request does not stroke the ego as much but…

Both the user manual AND the link to the software you require is in a sticky at the top of this forum.

Its not real hard. All you have to do is Download The Sansa Media Converter (Here). Its pretty self explanitory. Just remember you have to have your fuze plugged in for it to work. If that does not work Try Downloading Any-DVD-Converter and using it to convert your video to a fuze compatable format (Search that on here) then run it thru SMC to add it to your Fuze.

And Hazza, Dude how about just being helpful instead of always referring to the FAQ sticky on here or the manual?

It took me a while to figure out how to get a video properly installed onto my fuze as well.

I tried what Conversionbox (one of the most helpful members) mentioned about any-DVD-convertor (from previous posts), but it didn’t work when I downloaded it for some reason.

If you’re unable to get any-DVD-convertor to work, try the following link (http://www.effectmatrix.com/free-DVD-copy/).  It’s a free download from Effect Matrix that allows you to rip DVD’s onto your computer and then to your fuze by using the SMC that Conversionbox referenced.

I usually use WMV format and change the video resolution to 224x176.  I leave the other setting on default.

Hope this helps.

I agree. Just because not everyone is tech-savvy as you are does not mean that you have the right to be condescending towards them. To paraphrase microsansa, let’s all try being nice to each other.

Do you people actually watch a full movie on this tiny screen???

I do from time to time.  The position of the earphone jack makes it hard to prop the fuze up on things, but it’s not that bad; especially if you’re trying not to distract the other people around you like you can by using a portable DVD player or watching one on a laptop.
