My sansa is saying “Not enough space for Music DB. Please free 30MB.” and it turns right off so I can’t erase or format. When I hook it to my computer I can’t access my music either. What can I do?
Same thing happened to me recently.
I plugged into the computer and was able to access my music folder and delete some music.
Be sure you are in the correct USB mode.
Does anyone know if the Voice Recorder on the Clip is smart enough to not over-fill its capacity? My boys just found this feature (“OH, JOY!” ) on their nearly filled-to-capacity Clip and now I am a little concerned that they’re going to crash it.

It won’t record more than there’s room for in the memory.
