Hi lve used my clip most of today using cds, and now its decided it doesnt want to switch on 
what do l do? (please be gentle with me lm new to this lol)
Try Hard reset byt pressing up the power switch and holding it up for 15 seconds. If it doesnt power up after this it likely needs charging, so connect it to the pc to charge it.
My clip isrecognised by Media Player & fully charged but will not switch on when unplugged. Is it dead?
