Although I was able to get on the main menu the first time I used the player, now the only thing that shows up in the screen is Music". Pressing the menu button does nothing. Anybody have any ideas on how I can get the main menu to show. The player works fine in the music mode, but I can’t get out of that to go to the main menu.
“Music” is the first option on the menu; press the up and down buttons to view the FM Radio, Voice, and Settings options.

Pressing the Home or Menu button should take you to the Main Menu. From there you can scroll left or right to the Settings Menu.
But . . . if this is a new player and you’re pressing buttons crazily and the screen refuses to change, then you need to peel off the protective static-cling screen cover so you can see the real screen. 
And if that doesn’t work, try a reset: hold the on button down for 20-30 seconds or more.
