ixpand usb 3 32gb do not read all mkv files?

Hello,

I got a “ixpand usb 3.0 32gb” and I put on it from a PC Windows some files as mkv types.

I can read from the usb side all the files from the PC

But some are readable on a iPad and not the others. (same on 2 various iPad)

Why? What is to be done in order all my files could be read from iPad?

we first you ahve posted in the wrong board. There is a dedicated iXpand board so questions about that product you should post there. 

The issue is most likley related to the codecs used in the files. You can try converting them to a more common format like mp4 and see if they will play after conversion.
