No sound

Hello,

I downloaded files with *.mkv extensions; I can read and heard them on my computer and also on the iXpand Sandisk USB on the same computer.

Un fortunately when I try tu read and hear on my iPad the ipand with “iXpand drive” application if the video is ok, there is no sound:

Why and what is to be done to have the sound?

check what audio codec is used in the file. It is likely an unsupported audio codec. 

if that is the case you would need to convert the video. MP4 video codec with MP4 for the audio codec will be the most compatible.
