Issues with SecureAccess on new SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive 128GB

Hello,

I bought a brand new SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive 128GB. Upon plugging it in, I first tried placing things inside prior to using SecureAccess - was not able to, as I got the disk is write-protected pop-up.
Then I decided I would probably need to first use the “SanDiskSecureAccessV3.01_win”, clicked it, typed in a password and all the other relevant fields

and upon clicking “Okay” I immediately get the “Unable to write vault structure. This program cannot continue” pop up.
I click “OK” and the San Disk SecureAccess window comes up. If I type in the password I get “Failure reading the filesystems file (err=1)” BUT if I click “Forgot your password?” I get the proper last typed hint .

Could I please receive some assistance as I cant use the USB at all in its current state?

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,
Vinitsa

It’s defective, return it to the seller or to SanDisk.
