Yep. I use one with my Rockboxed e280. Works great.

The only caveat is that the e200 series has a +/- 2000 file limit. With the 16GB card, you’re likely to have many more tracks than this between the player and memory card.

I’m not sure if this limitation applies when using Rockbox though.
File limits are actually configurable, and the default playlist size is 10000, so I don’t think it’ll be a problem.
