How to get the Fuze to recognize the SD card?

Ok, I got my daughter the 2GB Fuze.  We have a 2GB microSD for our phones.  So I was trying to listen to the music from the SD but it’s not showing up anywhere.

HELP!!!

Connect the Fuze or a card reader to your computer and look at the file type of the music on the card. Is it mp3? The Sansa plays mp3, wma, .aa and (with firmware update) .ogg and .flac files. Not m4a and various others.

The Fuze is looking for information in the mp3 files called ID3 tags: Artist, Album, etc.  That information also needs to be in a particular format: ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1.  The songs on the SD card might be tagged with ID3v1 rather than ID3v2.3. You can change them with a free program,  mp3tag.  Install it and under Tools/Options/Tags/Mpeg set it to Write ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 with the check boxes.
