I have recently got the player, got a 32 gb micro sd card, and even updated the latest firmware. Now here’s my problem. It can’t recognise 2 artists on the player but it’s clearly on the card somebody help me.
The ID3 tags for those files are not correctly filled in, or of the wrong format for the player to read it.
The tags may be in ID3v1, which the Fuze does not read. Or the artist may not be filled in at all.
Get mp3tag. It’s free.
When it installs, let it add itself to context menus.
Under Tools/Options/Tags/Mpeg set the default to Write ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1, most readable to the Fuze.
Go to the folder with the album, right-click and you’ll see mp3tag as a choice to open it.
Highlight all the files. If Artist is already filled in, just Save (under files) and it will convert the tags to ID3v2.3 so the Fuze can read them. If not, fill in Artist over there on the left side and save.
