How do I change the order of songs on an album?

I’ve created mix albums for my Sanza Fuze and no matter what I do, they just seem to show up on the device in a random order. I’ve tried numbering them and making sure that in the folder on my computer screen, they appear in order, but it doesn’t seem to matter.  How can I put them in the order I want them in so I can listen to them in the correct order???

You probably need to check that the track numbers are correct in the ID3 tags. Sansas sort by tags, not filenames.

MP3Tag is a very good (and free!) tag editor. Make sure you set it to write your tags in ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 format. That’s the format most compatible with Sansas. Also, don’t use “01/10”-style track numbers. Track numbers should be a simple number with no slashes. “1”, “2”, “01”, “02”, etc.
