Help Sansa E250

Hi anybody, I’m new here. I tried to update my firmware - I have a sandisk e250 2Gb - but after the update operation my E250 just died!!! Anyone can help how to get it back working please? I have the blue ring only ON. Thank you for any help.

Have you tried resetting it?

Did you use the Updater or do it manually?

Did you attempt to install the correct firmware for your version of player (v1 vs. v2)?

Why would you ask this here in the Sansa Media Converter board, rather than in the Sansa e200 series board?

I thank you very much and realise that you are 100% right. I posted it in the wrong forum. Thanks again, and as you felt concerned, please note that I updated the firmware without however paying much attention to version. I suppose this is my big mistake! I would like to get my sansa e250 working back again. So if you know any means how this can be achieved, I shall be very grateful. Again thanks for your reply.

It might help to know exactly how you updated it and where you got the firmware update download from.
