Help my Sansa m250 when plugged in does not show all the music that is in there/

When i plugged my Sansa m250, i open the file to delete some of the music files from the Mp3 player. This never happen before…Only some of the files show up on the computer and and it is as if rest of the other music file does not exist.

If you have a pc computer select MSC on USB configuration menu. (Click on Menu->Settings->USB->MSC.

Good luck.

I have a Sansa m230 and have the same issue; only one playlist appears in Realplayer, Windows Media Player, and when I look at it through ‘My computer’.  Per the player I have about 86 songs, but Realplayer et al. says I only have 18 songs (the playlist) but it also says the player is almost full.  I changed the USB to MSC, but I still can’t see all my songs.  Any idea what I can try now?

Un-hide your folders & files in Windows.

I went to the the Drive K (where my Sansa shows up) and Tools, Folder Options and unhide files/folders.  Nothing changed.  I can still only see the one playlist.  Any other suggestions or is there another to unhide files/folders? Thx for the response.

Remember, if you have loaded songs onto the player in both MTP & MSC mode, you can only see the files added while you are connected in that mode.

Files loaded in MTP = You can only see these files while connected in MTP mode.

Files loaded in MSC = You can only see these files while connected in MSC mode.

You can’t see all of your files at one time if you have some transferred in both modes. The best thing if you have this situation, is to format the player (which will erase everything & optimize the memory cluster allocations) and re-transfer everything back to the player in 1 mode only.

Thanks.  I can finally see all my music (by switchiing back and forth b/w Mtp and msc).  Thanks.
