HDD shows up as a CD Drive

This external USB drive shows in Explorer & Disk Management but as a CD drive. Partition Magic does not see it.

I was cloning my laptop drive to this drive & it crashed. The drive was working before this.

WD5000BPKT - 00PK4T0

S/N [Deleted]

I am running XP SP3 on a Dell Inspiron 1525

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This drive is not an external drive.

Are you using this drive on an enclosure or removed the drive from its original housing?

Try the following troubleshooting steps:

WD external drive is not assigned a drive letter by Windows or Mac OSX and data on the drive is inaccessible
