Fuze+ Not Recognising Mp3Tag Changes

So I open up Mp3Tag, Add Directory of SANSA FUZEP (E: ) in MSC Mode and then edit the files I want to edit.

I then save the changes, exit the program and unplug the Fuze+. When the device reboots, the changes are not made and files I want to change still have unknown artists, even though when I plug the device in to the computer and look in Windows Explorer and right-click, properties on the files, it shows that the files do have Artists.

Am I missing something, or is the device not refreshing the database properly?

I answer my own question here. I just had to copy the files from the device to my computer, and then back again.

Or, I think you can delete the *.idx files, if your in MSC mode. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Well, I was using MTP or Auto Detect Mode, but I think your solution sounds about right. :slight_smile:
