Why the hell won’t my Sansa Fuze+ detect my sd card

This is for the old Fuze, not the Fuze + board. You should post a question there.
But anyway, more information is needed.
Did the card slot once work and has now stopped working? Or has it never worked?
Have you tried the card in another device to make sure the card works?
Have you tried a different card in the slot?
Is the card formatted to FAT32?
Does the Fuze+ work properly with no card in the slot?
