I have a fuze with an 8GB microSD card, andwhen I used firware updater to try to update the frimware, I got the message" your fuze has been upgraded:unplug to complete installation." But after i unplugged from the computer, nothing had chnged, and the version still read1.01.22. What am I doing wromg, and is there an alternative method?

I think, and many of the others here agree, that the Sansa Updater is a waste of space and time. Just uninstall it and delete whatever is left, you don’t need it. Just go read this post
and ignore the Updater download link…the “All Regions” link is the one you’re looking for. Make sure you read everything through first though…better safe than sorry :wink:
