fuze fell in water,not starting since then.help

i bought a sandisk sansa fuze,it was nice,good working. yesterday it got wet in water completely, since then it is not starting,…there is no service center in my town, can somebody pls help ,iam living in kurnool, andhrapradesh, india

Don’t try to turn it on again. The best thing to do is let it dry out. As long as it is wet, you risk shorting it out and ruining it.

So you have to be patient.

Put it in a container with some uncooked rice, to draw out the moisture,  and leave it for 5 days.

Then try turning it on again.

You’re not the first (nor the last) to have this happen. Join the club.

The absolute most important thing to do when something like this happens is _ NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON TO SEE IF IT STILL WORKS! _ You will short it out for sure. Water and electronics don’t play well together.
