Currently I have some songs with Japanese titles on the Sansa Clip and I’ve noticed that by browsing through the “folder” option the titles show up fine in Japanese characters but when I go through the “song” option or the “now playing” option, the characters show up as gibberish.

Is there any option to fix this?

You’ll have to edit the ID3 tags.

Is there a reason why it would show up normal by going through the “folder” option and it shows up as gibberish in the “song” option.  Sorry but I"m new to music files, so I’m not quite sure what ID3 tags are.
