I have a Clip Zip + and a Clip. I was wondering if the firmware used by both players is the same. The reason I ask is tonight I was promted to upgrade (Clip Zip +) but I am unable to upgrade the Clip.
The Clip is showing V01.02.16P, whereas the Clip Zip + is using V01.01.20A. I have tried updating the Clip but for some reason the updater does not show there is a new version. Is this right? Thanks.
What you probably have is a Clip+ and a Clip Zip. No they do not use the same fimrware. 01.02.16 is the latest firmware for the clip+ that is why the updater is not offering an update.
