Firmware version on player

I just got a new clips. I can I get the firmware version it is currently using?

Hi Ariel-Go to menu> scroll down to settings> scroll down to system info-It will tell you the firmware version. The latest version should be V01.01.20A

Currently I have V01.01.18F. I’ll go update it.

Do we need to update to v.18 before going to v.20, or is it okay to update the firmware to v.20 for an out of the box clip?

Go right to 20 ,  reformat afterwards is always a good idea.
