Empty file

Hello, I’m on a MacBook Air, brand new, fully updated.

Previously I had no issue moving photos from the MacBook to the SanDisk. Now, when I drag a photo over to the hard drive, it shows as a stock image and I get this message: The file “IMG_5333.jpeg” could not be opened because it is empty.

Thoughts?

I request to format drive using below mentioned link and try to transfer files:

NOTE: Formatting erases all the data saved in the drive.
