I got a Clip 1 GB two months ago, purchased brand new on Amazon. This week I got a 2 Gb used from a local eBay at a very good price. I was comparing the players and notice two things: - the control wheel buttons click louder in the 2 GB, the 1 GB buttons are very smooth and silent. - the circle led (around the wheel) its brighter in the 2 GB. Looks nicer but I don’t know if that affects the battery life. So 1 point for each one, because I like better the brighter led and the smooth buttons. I just want to know if everybody notice this before or if that louder clicking is because of misuse or wearing. Nice day!
I just got a new 2gb clip and I noticed the click on there. It’s exactly the same model so I’m assuming it’s just that my original clip’s buttons are worn.
Well, the strange thing is that the 1 GB (softer click) is less used than the 2 GB (louder click). But thinking about it, there’s no way to get a louder click out of more use, so it must be a different design…
