today I bought a cruzer switch 4GB and the reseller told me it could be password protected. I thought it is like my previous U3 cruzer but unfortunately that SanDisk Secure Access ■■■■■ !
it could be easily deleted and protection is too poor
is there a way i can install something to make it like my U3 ?
i am not satisfied with this one at all
u3 was discontinued back in 2009. it is not compatible with new devices and cannot be installed.

perfectly works with latest versions of widnows XP, 7 …
Secure Access is not useful at all
the file can be easily deleted and then nothing, our secured files are gone with the wind !!!

Which is it? It can’t be both. 
I mean the U3 flash disks i have, it’s about 4 years i’m using them (that you said they do not work properly)
They work well on any OS i plug.
But the newly bought one (Cruzer Switch) which is supposed to protect data, does not work well and is too poor
every thing can be accessed easily
No one said they did not work properly. What was said was that U3 was discontinued 3 years ago and you cannot install it on your new drive (Cruzer Switch).
