Cruzer Glide 64-GB

I have a Cruzer Glide 64-GB with the 2.0 USB connector. I use it to create a system image of my laptop computer only. I’m asking about the SanDisk Secure Access Software that is built into the flash drive. I do a quick format before each system image backup. When formatted, I then check the drive for any used space & it shows about 94-MB according to the properties. I then open folder(s) & computer shows me it is empty. Could this be the Secure Access Software & how would I use it?

Hi @hgw53t,

Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:

hgw53t once you format the drive all SecureAccess software is removed. IMO formatting is overkill, simply deleting all files and folders is sufficient. And when doing it hold the Shift key down.

Alright & so how would I delete all files & folders by holding down the Shift key?
