I recently hard formatted my Cruzer Glide and it seems to malfunction. It never gets recognized the first couple of times I plug it and when it does get recognized on the fourth or fifth attempt windows 10 always installs new drivers for it (for about a second I see the device manager icon loading green). After that it seems to work for about 2 minutes and then again stops being recognized. Apparently formatting it won’t help anymore.
I think it’s worth mentioning that this all started to occure after I put an OS recovery image to the USB drive but it shrunk its capacity so I formatted it and extended the unallocated storage through disk management. After this it started malfunctioning as I must have messes something up during the process.
