Computer doesn't detect certain files on my Sansa 2gb Clip

When I search for certain songs on my Sansa 2GB clip, the computer doesn’t find them.  I KNOW they’re there, because I’ve played them many times, but when I go to find them from the computer, they don’t show up.  I’ve run the search countless times, but no success.  Any ideas on why this could be happening?  Any help would be appreciated.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!  I had songs on this player that I REALLY didn’t want to lose, because I haven’t been able to find them ANYWHERE!!! 

 

Now that I know the solution, I kinda feel like an ■■■■■… LOL :stuck_out_tongue:

I assume you found the missing titles. I can’t think of a good reason why one would want to mix modes on the same device. Basically, MTP mode works best with music subscription titles and ripped cd’s, managed by a suitable program, most likely WMP or Rhapsordy.

For people like myself who just have a lot of music on the computer derived from who knows where, MSC mode after using tagging software (mp3tag) where needed, works best.
