I bought my Sansa clip at the end of the summer, and problems with the screen began about two months ago. Many times, when I turn it on all will be fine, but less than a minute in the screen will have problems. The most common issue is that the entire image on the screen shifts upwards. For example, half of the title bar, which is usually on the orange portion of the screen, is shown in blue at the bottom. Also, the screen will sometimes just completely freeze, often displaying old info, with the title of a track occasionally scrolling. Often, once the screen goes to sleep (while still playing music) it will not turn back on. After pressing buttons, the backlit buttons will illuminate but the screen stays black.
It is a 4GB player with 2.01.32 firmware
I’ve already tried formatting it through the option in its settings.
