Clip+ volume

Hi

First timer. Being middle aged I am illiterate when it comes to ‘new’ technology. I am amazed at the lack of volume /power on the 8gb clip I’ve just purchased. Thanks to posters on other sites I’ve managed to increase somewhat by adjusting EO to max, but it seems very strange that the capacity is so low.

I’ve gleaned that our European masters deem this level suitable for our very delicate Euro ears, but that our cousins elsewhere have the option to increase the level purely by entering some sort of zoning option indicating they are for example in the US and therefor not to be treated like babies, is this correct ? Is there any way to change this on my model- there is no zoning option I can locate ?

Any one else find this to be the case or any resolutions woild be appreciated.

Reset the Factory settings. I don’t have mine at hand right now, but I believe that option is in Settings > System Settings. Then you can change the region to US or Rest of World to get your volume back.

What the dude above me said it cranked the sound up to ear popping proportions.

i first used my normal eu settings i live in holland so nederland the volume was so low it was like metallica was whispering to me

just reset factory settings to english north america settings and the volume is ALOT higher then with the euro settings hopes this solves ur problems.

Brilliant! Thank you.

This solved my problem when attaching external speakers - no volume.

Everything is now great.

Now I really LOVE the clip+

Cheers,

Jon

Heyyyy!

Who you calling a ‘dude’?

Have just solved the volume level problem which was driving me crazy and I was on the point of returning my clip. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou Tapeworm.

Hello Tapeworm,I’m afraid that I am worse than the previous poster as I am a 77 year Old Age Pensioner. How do I access Settings/Systems Settings as I can hardly hear the sound when I insert my Micro SD card into my player, yet when I insert the card into my PC the volume is fine.

Settings is one the main menu options (along with Music, Recordings, etc.). System Settings is an option within that. Use the up or down buttons to find it. Remember the list is longer than what will display on the screen at any one time, so keep jogging up or down the list until you find it. Wwhen you get the the bottom of the list, it will start over.
